Jacuzzi for Natural Pain Relief

Whenever I move, I’m surprised by what I miss the most. When I moved to Israel, it was Grant’s Ant Traps.  Now it’s the whirlpool bathtub from my previous home. Without that tub, I have realized quickly, I am a mess.

Shortly after moving, my back started going out every night. In addition, my shoulder went out of alignment and wouldn’t get back on track.

One week into my move, I started looking for a local gym with a jacuzzi.  I was hoping it would also have a pool; 2-, 3-, and 5-pound free weights; cardio equipment that I love; and resistance training machines that I need.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find all that in one gym.  I was, however, able to find a gym with a double-jet jacuzzi, just under two miles away from my home. Within minutes after taking my first hot little dip on a 3-day trial membership, my back and shoulder pain had melted away.

I desperately need that jacuzzi as part of my natural pain relief regimen, so I’m joining the gym tomorrow. Another gym I considered is a mile closer, has cooler classes, cuter guys, a delicious Eucalyptus steam room, and a terrific view of the hills from the workout room (which has wall-to-wall windows).

But, alas, jacuzzi trumps all.
