I know that feeling. So validating to hear you say that. The whole system is broken and inapplicable to the experience of pain. We need to move forward with an entirely different foundation and approach.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Related to validation is the constant pressure by health care providers to &quot;measure&quot; pain on that damned 1-10 scale. It&#039;s so incredibly subjective, and yet I feel this terror that if I am not objectively consistent, I will reveal myself to be a liar somehow.</description>
