My Daily Exercise Log: April 6-April 12, 2008

One of the main reasons I started this blog was to hold myself accountable for manifesting my potential, for rising to the best of my abilities every day. After all, if I’m spouting advice on dancing with pain (both physically and metaphorically) what the hell right do I have to sit and drown in my own little pity party?

My goal is not just to get out of pain, but to become athletic again. To this end, I recently hung a big fat white board in my kitchen, on which I write my daily exercise log. I have decided to post weekly results on my blog site as well. Knowing that you’ll see them motivates me to get out there and exercise even more.

It’s so easy to let the pain, stiffness, and fatigue drag me down. So I want to thank you for helping me rise up. Knowing there are witnesses to my process gives me the extra kick in the pants that I need.

Dance 1 hour

Bike 4.5 miles


Dance 1 hour

Bike 1.2 miles


Dance 1 hour

Bike 3.5 miles


Bike 2.5 miles




Bike 10.5 miles

Total dancing: 3 hours

Total biking: 31.2 miles
