What’s in Your Chronic Pain Toolbox?
Yesterday I wrote a post that, among other things, shared what’s in my chronic pain toolbox — i.e., what are the various strategies I have for transcending pain, especially on the bad days.
Raimy Rubin, the fabulous new business manager for Dancing with Pain, suggested that I now ask all you terrific readers out there what’s in your chronic pain toolbox — so that we have the opportunity to do some much-needed skills sharing. What a great idea!
Using the comments box (if you don’t see it, click on the title of this article, then scroll to the bottom), please take a minute or two to share some of the most effective things in your personal chronic pain toolbox:
- What helps you effectively transcend physical pain?
- What enables you to stay focused on the good stuff in life, during times that pain is especially grueling?
- How do you cope with the social, financial, and romantic impact that pain has on your life?
- What other groovy stuff do you have to share with us?
Once enough ideas are in there, I’ll make a compilation of my favorites and include them in a new post.
