Yesterday afternoon, I went to the corporate website of Whole Foods Market and made a formal complaint about my bad experience. This morning, I received a very caring response from the manager of my local store, where I had the bad experience.
Not only did the manager offer me a gift card for more than twice the amount of my purchases, but she also had a conversation with the dairy department (where I’d gotten most of the spoiled goods) and with the customer service team — to ensure that other customers would not have the same kind of experience in the future.
My warm fuzzy Whole Foods feelings are officially back, and I’ll be resuming my partronage of the store promptly. Which is a really good thing, because my wrists don’t like squeezing lemons; and I haven’t found any bottled lemon juice as good as the Whole Foods brand.
