Yikes! I Nearly Collapsed on the Bike Trail!

Short blog post: Had bad bodywork session on Wednesday. Been in bed much of the past few days, unable to work. Tried to go on a bike ride today, but something was very, very wrong. Arms going numb, felt like I was going to collapse, weird breathing thing going on.

Got very scared. Was almost dark, and I didn’t know if I’d make it back. Nobody else was on the trail. I called my mom on my cell and tried to tell her where I was, but my brain wasn’t working. Couldn’t download the info that could communicate to her which direction I’d gone on the bike trail.

Finally was able to remember the name of the town in whose direction I’d gone. Started biking back, with my mom on the phone. Was fairly hysterical. She talked me through it, encouraged me to breathe, reminded me of all the crazy stuff I’d gotten through beautifully.

Made it home.
